Alice Springs Mini Conference 


GHTANT is pleased to offer a professional develop activity aimed at English and Humanities teachers from upper primary to senior secondary. A range of sessions will be delivered in subject-specific areas, as well as for integrated programs.


Highlights of the program include:


  • Using ArcGIS for engaging geography programs
  • Create StoryMaps for interactive projects in the humanities
  • Embedding ICT into history and humanities programs
  • Engaging ways to teach sources and critical analysis
  • Developing integrated units in a crowded curriculum


A light brunch will be provided.


Travel assistance may be available to teachers outside of Alice Springs. Please note that this funding is limited, and will be allocated based on need and your willingness to share your learning with your peers.

The Gandel Holocaust Studies Program for Australian Educators is a long-term professional-development program aimed at training a cadre of expert Holocaust educators who are active throughout Australia.

The dates of the next seminar are December 30, 2018-January 16, 2019.
